Independent Non-Executive Chairman
David Cruickshank serves as Independent Non-Executive Chairman for the Boards of McInroy & Wood Limited and McInroy & Wood Portfolios Limited. He joined McInroy & Wood in 2022, bringing a wealth of expertise from the professional and financial sectors. During his career, David spent 40 years at Deloitte, where he held numerous leadership roles. He served as UK Chair from 2007 to 2015, followed by four years as Global Chair, retiring in 2020.
Beyond his corporate career, David has been actively involved in global initiatives, including co-chairing the World Economic Forum’s Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI). He holds a BComm in Business and Economics from the University of Edinburgh and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 through ICAS.
Today, David also chairs Jupiter Fund Management plc, sits on the ICAS Council, and leads the Boards of two charities: Education and Employers in the UK and the Social Progress Imperative in the US.
